日本精神神経学会　会員各位

　日本精神神経学会では、毎年、優れた海外の若手医師12名に対してFellowship Awardを授与し、年次学術総会にてシンポジウム（International Symposium）発表の場を設ける事業を行っております。
　本シンポジウムでは、Fellowship Awardを受賞した海外の医師のほか、日本の医師数名にも発表者を毎年務めていただいております。
　昨年より、本シンポジウムにおける日本人発表者について公募を行っております。
　多くの先生方からのご応募をお待ちしています。

シンポジウム発表テーマについて

　Fellowship Award受賞者と同様のテーマで、ご発表いただきます。
　2016年度については、以下の2テーマのいずれかからお選びいただけます。

1.  Women’s Mental Health

Though the theme is women’s mental health, application may be received from both sexes.  For women’s mental health a variety of issues such as human rights, prostitution, gender based violence, opportunity for social participation / promotion, influence of religion and others are involved.
With 200- 250 words the applicant is requested to describe how women's mental health is dealt with in his/her country and to report the gender ratio of psychiatrists.

The description may address the following issues:

• a. Are there specific services for women’s mental health?
• b. How are the women’s mental health issues included in education/training at the undergraduate level, for residents and at the postgraduate level?
• c. How are depression and anxiety dealt with in sexual and reproductive health settings? Is there training for sexual and reproductive health providers? How are treatment, referrals and referral-counter referral networks functioning?
• d. Are there laws or regulations about maternity/paternity leave implementation? Is there service to alleviate the burden on working mothers? How is work / life balance conceptualized and executed?

2. Case Vignette

The applicant is requested to describe how psychiatrists in his/her home country would deal with the case described in the vignette.

The description must address the following points:

• a. Assessment
  (psychiatric diagnosis based on ICD-10 & DSM-5, or using own methodology in your country; possible causes and psychopathological assessments are also welcome to describe.)
• b. Need—or absence of need—for psychiatric intervention in the present case
• c. Describe the method(s) of intervention
  (pharmacotherapy, psychosocial interventions, and/or a unique therapy applied in your country).
• d. Frequency of seeing similar cases in your own country

条件

• 日本精神神経学会の会員である
• 応募時点での年齢が40歳以下である
• 英語でシンポジウム発表を行う事ができる

　所定のフォームを用いて、期日までに日本精神神経学会の学会事務局までEメールにて応募してください。 国際委員会にて選考の上、発表者を決定させていただきます。
