The purpose of the Japanese Society of Psychiatry and Neurology (JSPN) international membership is to further promote its international activities.
Applicants for international members of the JSPN shall be members of the World Psychiatric Association (WPA) member societies. Applications will be examined by the international committee and approved by the board council.
Annual international membership fees have been set as follows in accordance with the WPA member society’s classification based on World Bank Gross national income per capita data: JPY 5,000 for members from high-income countries (Group A), JPY 4,000 for members from upper middle-income countries (Group B), JPY 3,000 for members from lower middle-income countries (Group C), and JPY 2,000 for members from low income countries (Group D).
International members who have been granted the JSPN Fellowship Award shall be exempt from paying the membership fees for the first year.
A fiscal year for membership fees shall be from January to December.
International members can :
* The membership status is granted for one calendar year only (from January to December). To remain an active membership, members are requested to apply for the membership each year. We accept membership application from November to December before the expiration. If you wish to apply for the membership for the current year, please contact us.
* The membership fee is determined depending on the country you input at the office address in the registration form.
* Payment for the annual membership fee is only accepted via credit card.
* Once you have completed the registration process, the notification email will be sent to your registered email address. If you haven’t received the notification email, it is likely that your registration is not completed. In that case, please contact us directly.
