Call for International Members of the Japanese Society of Psychiatry and Neurology

Update: May 28, 2021

The Japanese Society of Psychiatry and Neurology has sponsored the Fellowship Award since 2006 for the purpose of international exchange, inviting many participants from abroad and organizing several international symposia every year.

We are very glad to see that international activities such as international multi-site joint research projects and joint symposia, which have developed from the interaction between the participants from overseas and Japanese psychiatrists, are now expanding the scope of international activities.

We are pleased to announce that the Japanese Society of Psychiatry and Neurology has established an international membership system to further encourage our international exchange. The international membership system is open to those who belong to WPA member societies or are WPA individual members. By facilitating interaction among psychiatrists from around the world, we seek to promote international exchange activities that will lead to the future, such as exchange of knowledge and information from each country, collaborative research activities, publication of papers, international symposia, and invitations to international conferences.

This system provides many advantages such as the latest information on the Japanese Society of Psychiatry and Neurology such as the Fellowship awards, waiver of registration fee for the Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Psychiatry and Neurology, and opportunities for recruitment for and participation in international activities through the global network of psychiatrists.

We would like to invite as many participants as possible to join us and expand our international network. We are looking forward to your participation.
